The third Under The Pole expedition will take place between May 2017 and June 2020. Throughout the expedition, diving and sailing training programs of one or more weeks are available. Feel free to contact us for any queries.

The number of vacancies in the Under The Pole Explorer training programs depend on the phase of the expedition. For a total of twelve crew members on board, we distinguish between the expedition phase (2 vacancies in the Explorer program), the conveyance phase (4 vacancies in the Explorer program), and the scouting phase (6 vacancies in the Explorer program).

programme An exceptional journey starting with 6 to 10 days sailing in the open sea before reaching eastern Greenland’s residual ice field and icebergs. Next, cross over to its southernmost point, before heading back up between the myriad islands on the Western coast, anchoring in its fjords. The final stop is Ilulissat, a UNESCO world heritage site for its giant glaciers and icebergs.

Embarkation takes place on the afternoon of the first day and disembarkation on the morning of the last day.

In order to secure the best prices and guarantee your seat on the appropriate flight, we recommend you book your plane tickets as soon as possible (online, through us, or through your travel agency)

Prices

A discount is applied when booking a second stay or 2 consecutive stays.

The prices indicated include

Accommodation and meals on board, on-board expenses (food, fuel, and port taxes), costs associated with the expedition team, costs associated with the boat crew and dive supervision, civil liability insurance for the boat and dives. For divers, all diving equipment is provided, with the exception of a dry suit or wet suit.

The prices indicated do not include

Plane tickets, airport transfers, any hotel stays during transit, alcoholic beverages on board, multi-risk personal/baggage/cancellation insurance, use of the communication equipment on board. For divers: dry suit or wet suit.
